It’s official. After a week of constant torments day after day via video, Will Ferrell finally followed through with this threats and shaved Conan O’Brien’s beard. A Saturday Night Live alum, Ferrell was a guest on last night’s episode of Conan. Now the whole world will just have to picture Conan without the beard rather than the bearded Conan.
Vodpod videos no longer available.
Conan airs the “Fan Corrections” segment periodically during the orange-haired comedian’s show. But the Monday episode was no different. Will Ferrell, who is set to appear as a guest on May 2, made a fan correction video comment, threatening to shave Conan’s beard. And he is beardly serious.
To make his threat creepier, he changed his voice to sound like a sex offender (He called the hair on Conan’s face pubes and called Conan himself a dick.), wielding an old-timey razor. Now he’s even MORE serious.
“You’re going to feel the sting of my blade on May 2. The razor sleeps for NO ONE!”

The end of an era. A ride on the comedy train cut short for one late night mogul. Last night, Conan O’Brien aired his final show as the host of The Tonight Show, serving for only seven months. As I told you earlier, Conan took the $40+ million deal to leave NBC provided that he does not badmouth NBC or its employees.
Jay Leno, the man whom he succeeded, will move back to his old time slot at 11:35 p.m. starting March 1. Fox has been eying CoCo since the Late Night Wars took light, but who knows, even the CW network wanted him. Conan O’Brien is allowed to move to another network, but he can’t start a new late-night show until September. Check out Conan’s final farewell as Will Ferrell performs “Free Bird” in the video below.
